Vaccine Information

Top Health Center offers COVID-19 vaccines to anyone 12 years of age and older. Boosters are offered to anyone 12 years old and older. Scheduling instructions are available below. We currently offer the Pfizer and Moderna bivalent formulations. The authorized bivalent COVID-19 vaccines, or updated boosters, include an mRNA component of the original strain to provide an immune response that is broadly protective against COVID-19 and an mRNA component in common between the omicron variant BA.4 and BA.5 lineages to provide better protection against COVID-19 caused by the omicron variant.

Molnupiravir and Paxlovid are antiviral pills proven to help people who have been diagnosed with COVID-19. These pills must be taken within five days of the onset of COVID-19 symptoms and are currently reserved for patients at high risk for progressing to severe symptoms and hospitalization. Taking one of these medications within the first five days of symptoms (when people may not yet feel severely ill) has been shown to make people feel better, prevent them getting sicker, and prevented hospitalization and death.
